Read Full TestimonialI climbed Mt Meru and Mt Kilimanscharo with Django Tours and it was an unforgettable experience. Both ascents were accompanied by guides who were very confident and knowledgeable about what to expect from the climbs and they prepared us very well. Everybody in the group – porters, cooks and guides were super-friendly, funny and there was a great sense of belonging, especially on the Kili tour.
The organisation of the tour was impeccable and the accomodations in between were very well picked. In between the two climbs we went on a one-day safari to Tarangire, which was the perfect thing to do to rest our legs and have a wonderful insight into Tanzanian wildlife with lots of elephants, gazelles, giraffes, warthogs and colorful birds. Spending your holiday experiencing breath-taking moments on Mt Meru and Mt Kilimajaro are unforgettable in itself and it was a trip of a lifetime. Booking it with the Djanog Tour Team was a great decision. They are very forthcoming and accomodating and do everything they can to give you an unforgettable experience. I’d always book with them again!

One of the first things that comes to mind when I think about the trip is:“Freedom”.
A very special form of freedom: freedom from everyday life, the constraints of civilization with all modern achievements.
On the hikes you are forced to deal with yourself and to refer back to the simple things of life: where and what do we eat, when do we sleep, where can I go to the toilet?I never had to push my limits so far. I can recommend this type of travel to anyone who would like to break out of their everyday life.
